First Artisans Preparing to Teach in Artsakh

CINF is currently preparing to send its first Italian artisans to Artsakh to open vocational courses at the Stepanakert Technical School. The first courses offered will include woodworking, tailoring, cooking, and hairdressing. Woodworking classes will begin in Spring 2020, to be taught by Armando Coradazzi. $30,000 of woodworking equipment, donated by Armando, will be shipped to Artsakh ahead of his arrival. The Artsakh Ministry of Education and Ministry of Urban Development are also preparing to build a carpentry workshop adjacent to the Stepanakert Technical School.

Instructors for hairdressing will be sent in the Spring of 2020.

The Principal of the Don Carlo Gnocchi Vocational School, Tiziana Villa, is arranging the cooking program and will send instructors in the Summer or Fall of 2020.

Board Members Siobhan Nash-Marshall and Antonia Arslan met with prospective tailor instructors this past August.
