CINF’s charity auction, titled Artsakh Lives, began on March 8th, 2021. It featured 22 hand-made pieces designed and crafted by students of the Antonia Arslan Armenian-Italian Hamalir based in Stepanakert, Artsakh.
The majority of items consisted of everyday-wear, including tops, blazers, skirts, and pants, ranging generally from $30-$200. In addition, the auction featured a “Special Collection” of designer-quality garments made from fine fabrics, including luxury items like vicuna skirts and double-faced capes in Alpaca and Cashmere. Items in the Special Collection ranged in price from $250-$2,000.
By the auction’s close on March 18th, between bids and other donations, CINF raised $4,186. Bidders participated from across the country, including Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and California. Their contributions will directly benefit the Hamalir, as renovations continue and programs develop.
